Kiefer en rehabilitaciòn....

Ahora que se conoce el resultado de la negociaciòn entre Kiefer y la fiscalìa de los Angeles (donde reiteradamente se indica que la càrcel no le bajarà de 48 dìas, pero igual toca esperar la sentencia final del juez) el ambiente en el set de 24 es de tristeza. De acuerdo a nota del Chicago Sun Times, un miembro del staff de la serie habrìa comentado que todos tratan de poner una cara positiva al asunto, pero que estàn inevitablemente tristes ante el destino que le espera a Kiefer.



Otra fuente cercana a Kiefer habrìa indicado que el actor retornò a sus reuniones con Alcohòlicos anònimos dos veces al dìa, pero que estarìa programando un tratamiento intensivo en una instituciòn especializada. No se internarìa permanentemente por motivos de la programaciòn de filmaciones de 24, pero el actor podrìa dormir en la instituciòn de marras y asistir a consejerìa diaria aparte de sus reuniones con AA.



Entre este momento y el mes de diciembre, la vida de Kiefer estarà entre luchar contra su problema y filmar 24, antes de cumplir su deuda con la justicia. Sin embargo, si son ciertos rumores vistos en el blog de Benny, el asunto lo està golpeando seriamente. Estarìa muchìsimo màs delgado (Ups....y la verdad no tengo dudas. Este hombre debe tener un complejo de culpa que ni te cuento....) Si ubico algo al respecto lo publicarè luego.

Star Kiefer Sutherland in twice-daily A.A. meetings, and his saddened colleagues put on brave faces

Now that Kiefer Sutherland is facing more than six weeks in jail for his DUI case and violating his probation on an earlier DUI, a staff member on the set of his FOX series "24" told me Wednesday, "Things are pretty grim around here. ... Everyone is putting on a brave face and trying to be positive, but it is sad, nonetheless."



According to another source close to the actor's inner circle, Sutherland (who already has returned to twice-daily Alcoholics Anonymous meetings) is expected also to schedule a more intensive residential rehab treatment program and very shortly.



"Of course, it all will have to work around the '24' schedule, but he likely will be sleeping in a facility and attending daily counseling sessions in addition to the A.A. meetings," the source added.



"Between now and the end of the year, Kiefer's life will pretty much be dealing with his sobriety, working on our show and then going to jail."



The actor is scheduled to be officially sentenced Dec. 21, when he will begin serving an 18-day sentence for probation violation. He then has until July 1, 2008, to serve the 30-day jail sentence for the latest DUI. Sutherland also will be on probation for five years.
