Bueno, al menos no està manejando. Algo es algo. Al menos eso le pedimos.

Varios medios reportaron que Kiefer y buena parte del Mc. Combo de 24 (incluyendo a.....whatever. Cierto zombie) se pasaron el mièrcoles pasado en la noche un buen rato en el bar del Four Seasons (Hotel donde estaban alojados mientras filmaron en la ciudad de Washington) y aparentemente nuestro querido chico se pasò un tanto de tragos, evidente en que lo oyeron gritando "Washington Rocks!!!!" a las afueras del hotel de marras. Aparte, Kiefer saludò y firmò algùn que otro autògrafo a fans que esa noche estaban en el hotel. El grupo se pasò como hasta la una y media en el bar en una mesa bastante animada segùn cuentan: al final Kiefer y una amiga casi lo cerraron.

Bastante màs sobrio un rato antes, Kiefer comentò que le habìa encantado el clima de Washington, pero que habìa sido pesado filmar en determinados sitios cuando al menos 36 instituciones tenìan jurisdicciòn sobre una cuadra (y habìa que pedirle permiso a todas!)

Esa noche tambièn se encontraba en dicho bar Robert Redford con Madeleine Albright y Nancy Pelosi, pero nunca llegaron a tropezar con Kiefer y su grupo.

Kiefer viajò posteriormente a Nueva York, donde va frecuentemente a visitar a su hija. Pero antes de irse de Washington dejò declaraciones para Extra! que tienen algùn que otro spoiler y que pueden leer si "siguen leyendo" este post. Obvio, hay spoilers.

One of televisions most popular shows, Fox’s “24,” will have to shut down production until 2009.

Season seven of the hit series will take Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer to Washington, D.C., and “Extra” was in the nation’s capitol with Kiefer as the news of the strike broke.

If the show is able to continue filming, Kiefer says fans can expect more thrills.

“It doesn’t get any better,” Kiefer said. “Finally for the people who are in the White House on our show they get to actually step outside, and you believe where they are.”

Kiefer also revealed that last season’s bad guy Tony Almeida, thought to be dead, is back. Kiefer’s character will have to battle it out to save the country, and Kiefer admitted that keeping up with that action-packed schedule is a tall order.

“Well I think one of the great qualities of Jack Bauer is his integrity,” he said. “And obviously in hindsight we all have moments where we look back and go, ‘Gosh I wish I had done that differently,’ but certainly in those moments he’s doing the best he can and I think that’s what I’ve related to him, and audiences have as well.”

Audiences will definitely be counting the seconds until the strike ends.
